Peoples Bank Promotes Rhonda Welch

Dennis Ammann, President and Chief Executive Officer at Peoples Bank, announced the promotion of Rhonda Welch to Assistant Vice President.

Welch joined Peoples Bank in 1998. During her 21-year tenure at the bank, she has served as a Teller, Customer Service Representative, Branch Manager, Loan Officer and Mortgage Loan Officer. She completed studies at the Ole Miss School of Banking in 2006 and, in 2013, the Southeastern School of Consumer Credit.

She is active with the Friends of Mendenhall Library. She has one son, Jeffie and one daughter, Jessica, along with son-in-law Sam Maddox. She also treasures two grandchildren and is anticipating the arrival of her third grandchild.

“I am pleased to announce Rhonda’s well-deserved promotion”, Ammann said. “She has a big heart and enjoys seeing her customers succeed. Rhonda has also been very instrumental in working with our CreditUp program which teaches financial education to our community. She has helped many people improve their credit score and make good, sound financial decisions.”
