Peoples Bank Announces 2019 Christmas Card Winners

A group of children posing with their medals and a trophy

Kids from Simpson, Smith, Rankin and Covington counties submitted hundreds of precious pieces of original artwork for the annual Peoples Bank Christmas Card Contest.  Elated winners, parents and grandparents poured in for a winners’ reception hosted at the Magee office on December 4th.  It’s was a magical event filled with all things sweet to eat, lots of cameras, welcoming employees, proud parents and honored kids.  The whole lobby was transformed into a winter scene.  All winners’ framed artwork was on display in the board room for all the oohs and ahhs of parents and guests. Talent is abundant and always honored at this event.  And, to share this holiday spirit with even more people, the overallwinner’s artwork is created into the official bank Christmas Card each year.  The artwork, along with a brief description of the child, is mailed out to all Peoples Bank customers each year.

Congratulations to our 2019 overall winner, Asah Ainsworth. Asah is the 6-year-old daughter of Jason and Megan Ainsworth of Cato, Mississippi. She is in the 1st grade at Puckett Elementary. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her pets, and being outside.

Asah also will receive a $100 savings account. We are so very proud of Asah, all category winners and all the participants.
