Platinum Club Krewe enjoys Mardi Gras

Members of the Peoples Bank Platinum Club and friends recently traveled to Shreveport, LA to enjoy an afternoon at the Red River Mardi Gras Bash. The day included a parade featuring  “The Krewe of Centaur”, a non-profit organization which was organized in 1991.  Their sole purpose is to build a better community and promote good family fun.  Krewe members take pride in their community initiatives, often visiting with children in hospitals, nursing home residents, and hospital patients leading up to the day of the parade.  They boast that their 700 plus members is one of only three super krewes in Louisiana.  The Krewe of Centaur parade has grown over the years to become the largest parade in the Arkansas-Louisiana-Texas area. It was named after the mythological half-man/half-horse in recognition of the horse racing and gaming industry in Northwest Louisiana.  With the nickname of the “Fun Krewe”, they certainly delivered FUN to our Platinum Krewe.
