Long promoted to Vice President

Dennis Ammann, President and Chief Executive Officer at Peoples Bank, announced Mike Long has been promoted to Vice President at the Mendenhall- Main Office location. Long assumes his new title after having served as a Real Estate Officer. He is responsible for ordering and reviewing appraisals and completing evaluations for mortgage loans.

He has been in banking since 1993 and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi State University in 1986. In 2001, he completed studies at the Mississippi Graduate School of Banking, conducted at Ole Miss. He was the 2015 Peoples Bank Promise Award winner and the 2016 Peoples Bank WOW Award winner.

He and his wife, Kim, have two children and one granddaughter.
