Samantha Tharpe Promoted to Collections Officer

Dennis Ammann, President and Chief Executive Officer at Peoples Bank, said that long-time bank employee Samantha Tharpe has been promoted to Collections Officer in Magee.

Ms. Tharpe joined Peoples Bank in 2007 and served as Head Teller for nine years. For the last several years, she has served as a Collections Specialist. She will now take over the department that oversees foreclosures, repossessions, judgements and garnishments.

She is a 2003 graduate of Mount Olive Attendance Center and is married to Carlton “Ray” Tharpe. She has two daughters: Karlee and Ryleigh.

“Samantha has distinguished herself and excelled as a team player for many years, and I am confident she will continue to do an outstanding job in her new role,” Ammann said.
