Dennis Ammann, President and CEO of Peoples Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Goldie Davis to the position of Human Resource Officer. She will be based at the bank’s Main Office in Mendenhall.

With 25 years of banking experience, Davis brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role. For 21 years, she worked in the Retirement Plan Services Department at a national bank, and for the past four years, she has served as an assistant to the CEO and assistant secretary to the Board of Directors at Peoples Bank.

In her new position, Davis will primarily oversee payroll and insurance functions, while continuing to serve as assistant secretary to the Board.  Ammann said, “Her deep understanding of the banking industry, coupled with her dedication to organizational efficiency, will enable her to excel in this expanded role”.

Davis holds an associate’s degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She and her husband, John, reside in New Hebron and are the proud parents of five children and three grandchildren.

An active member of the local community, Davis contributes to the New Hebron Elementary PTO and serves as the praise team leader at New Hebron Pentecostal Church, where she is also involved in the greeters team and the ladies committee.

“Goldie has a huge heart and takes great care of people,” said Ammann. “We are thrilled to promote her to this new role, where she will continue to thrive and positively impact our employees and our community.”
