Triston Roberts joins Peoples Bank as Loan Officer
President and CEO of Peoples Bank, Dennis Ammann, is pleased to announce that Triston Roberts has joined Peoples Bank as a Lender at the Collins office. In this new role, Roberts will assist clients in navigating their financial needs, with a focus on supporting agricultural operations and other local businesses.
Roberts brings a wealth of experience to the position, having worked extensively within the agricultural industry. His career includes hands-on experience with show cattle and goat operations in Texas and Illinois, as well as serving as a Conservation Specialist for Steward Link in Winona, MS. In this capacity, Roberts helped farmers and ranchers optimize government grant programs to enhance their agricultural operations.
A graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, Roberts combines a strong academic background with a practical understanding of the challenges faced by farmers and ranchers.
Roberts is also an active member of his community, mentoring youth in Mississippi and across the country with their show cattle projects. His commitment to agriculture and rural development was recognized when he won the prestigious Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Discussion Meet in 2023, representing the state at the national discussion meet in Salt Lake City, Utah, in January 2024.
“We are thrilled to have Triston join our Peoples Bank family,” said Ammann. “His deep knowledge of agriculture, combined with his passion for serving the community, makes him a valuable asset to our team and the customers we serve. His grandmother, the late Susan Hall, was a vital part of our bank for many years.”
Outside of work, Roberts values time with his family, including his mother, Jennifer Roberts, and sister, Kylie Roberts.
