Cheramie Joins Peoples Bank As SBA Business Development Officer

Dennis Ammann, President and Chief Executive Officer at Peoples Bank, announced that local businessman Tyler Cheramie has been hired by the bank as an SBA Business Development Officer.

Located in the bank’s Magee Office, Cheramie will be responsible for SBA Loan growth in Mississippi and Louisiana, specializing in small-to-moderate sized businesses.

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he earned is Associate’s degree from Co-Lin and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from William Carey University. For the past four years Cheramie has been affiliated with Farm Bureau Insurance in Simpson County.

He currently serves on the Magee Beautification & Development Committee and the Simpson County Youth Leadership Committee. He and his wife, Nicole, also serve as the youth leaders at Church Alive. They have one son, Jude.
